About us

eLearnX provides practical, evidence-informed training on issues affecting wellbeing

eLearnX is a free online learning platform created and led by Asian Family Services to make high-quality, culturally responsive education accessible to everyone.

It was established with a clear vision: to strengthen the confidence and capability of communities and workforces to recognise emerging wellbeing needs, respond early and ensure people receive the right support.

eLearnX provides practical, evidence-informed training on issues affecting wellbeing, including gambling harm and suicide prevention. Courses are developed in collaboration with subject-matter experts, cultural advice, and people with lived experience, ensuring that the learning is practical, culturally grounded and responsive to the needs of Aotearoa New Zealand’s diverse communities.

  • The Integrated Tree Model

Explore a practical framework for understanding the personal, social and environmental factors that can contribute to gambling harm — and the pathways that support wellbeing.

  • Suicide prevention

Build practical knowledge and culturally responsive skills to help recognise distress, respond safely, and support pathways to professional help within Asian communities.
